I can't do without.

The heat was warming my skin, gradually penetrating into my body. I took an air-conditioned public bus to work. I made it there early, and I had foreseen a pleasant working time ahead.

I was blessed with the easiest station ever- A, on a Saturday night. I was glad to have Dyla working with me, and I haven't seen her in awhile. Hanah was overactive today, blabbering gibberish and grumbling about her difficult (nothing is too hard for her, actually) orders.
Hanah: I know why I have so many Jungle Freeze today.
Jean: Why?
Hanah: Because today is Earth Day what.
Jean: *laughs* So lame.
Jean: Then, today's stingray no banana leaves.
Hanah: Why?
Jean: Because it's Earth Day.
Hanah: *laughs* Even more lame.

Yet another fateful incident which occurred during peak hour. Prawn Trellis is probably my nemesis.
Dyla approached me saying that she unintentionally keyed in a Prawn Trellis whilst checking the orders of her customers. We got Charie to void the item for us, but being the usual absent-minded me, I forgot to inform the kitchen about the cancellation of order. Minthu was furious. I was to blame, I know. Tell me, does Prawn Trellis harbours something against me? I didn't even offend it.
I was taken aback by this incident, but I tried not to be reminded of it, lest I break something again.
When I eventually managed to convince myself to enter the kitchen, I braced myself and was prepared to ignore those expected questions that will be thrown at me. However, my worries were unduly. Minthu apologised, but I admitted that I was at fault. He even stood by the door, obstructing me from making my exit. Until he ensured I wasn't mad at him, he allowed me to leave.

Long awaited Earth hour finally arrived when the restaurant had the lights switched off. I didn't do my part (since I was at work), but I was a part of it (since I was at work). We had candles on every table, and the servers each had a lighter. The kitchen had their fair share of fun too when they switched off their ceiling lights for awhile. Bar had to function in the dark as well, but nothing can defeat Hanah.

Station D was alone, sitting in a corner in pitch darkness. It wasn't a challenge, but I wanted to try going in there for a reason. Hence, I plucked my courage and went in there to retrieve my camera.
BEAT THAT.
It wasn't as dark as it looked from the outside, of course.

After closing, Dyla and I made a mess in the kitchen and we were trying to clear traces of evidence of our crime. Hope we did a good job. Q and Nur waited for me before we left together. Good to have Nur as a company all the way to my home.

M-E-M-O-R-A-B-L-E.
Goodnight, earthlings.
